More efficient personnel services

SAIMASOFT's operational management system – SAIMA SPS – has been designed to enable personnel companies run their services more efficiently, faster, and with a higher degree of inbuilt automation.

A specialist in software for personnel management based on Internet technology, SAIMASOFT is part of SAIMA soft & people Oy, which also includes SAIMAPEOPLE, which provides recruitment and temporary staffing services, and SAIMAMEDIA, a marketing communications company.

SAIMA SPS provides a solid foundation for the day-to-day management of personnel services companies looking to simplify and enhance their use of resources and the level of performance they offer to customers and job-seekers.

Drawing on this broad pool of human resource expertise, SAIMASOFT has developed SAIMA SPS to facilitate and enhance the activities of personnel service companies and save on resource- and time-related costs. The system transfers everyday routines online, to speed up and improve the overall quality of the service offered to customers and applicants, and provide an overall system framework for day-to-day business.

Accessible via the Internet, SAIMA SPS includes modules for recruitment, administering temporary personnel, customer relationship management, and logging numbers of hours worked. The system enables customer accounts, assignments, and job applications to be managed centrally – anywhere, any time.

The system posts vacancies in a variety of media and speeds up the processing of applications, by simplifying the job of comparing the expertise of applicants to sift out the best candidates. Communications with applicants and customers are handled directly through the same interface via e-mail or SMS.

SAIMA SPS provides comprehensive tools for managing and monitoring assignments, extending from logging the number of hours worked by people and supplying this data to salary systems to generating and storing customer and employee contracts completely electronically.

A new era

The functional integration offered by SAIMA SPS marks a clear break with traditional customer relationship management and recruitment systems.

As an ASP (Application Service Provisioning) product, customers only need to lease the modules they need, thereby simplifying its roll-out. As their needs change, they can add more modules. This approach eliminates conventional hardware and software costs, and outsources maintenance costs as well.

Capacity is added as needed to meet customers' throughput, together with additional security features to ensure that sensitive information is always fully protected.

Originally launched in 2002, SAIMA SPS has been steadily developed since then. This has seen the system adopted by numerous personnel companies in Finland as something of a standard, and opens up the way for future growth.
